Mr Louis van Aardt
Hi all, I`m from South Africa Johannesburg area and are new to the engraving world and hope to learn something. I make knive`s part time and want to do some engraving on my bolsters, so if there is somebody out there who can help me where to start it will be highly apreciated.

Welcome to the forum!
 There are also some good tips in the Tutorials section - don't forget to check the Contest sub-sections there as well. Not sure if any of our other South African members are near you or not, but I'm sure they know. I do know they'll be able to give you good advice on getting tools and equipment.
