Could it possibly have gold overlays and inlays. Nah.........that would
look way too classy!

Barry - did you start the how do you keep a turkey in suspense joke?
(I'll tell you tomorrow ! )

Anyway , it looks like another winner.

Bill

Looks great. I see you've added a little touch to accent your inlays.

Very Nice. Congratulations on this, and also for developing a unique style that will be known to all as an authentic "hands" engraving.

Thanks Bill, Dave, Chris and Dave and Phil.
Phil, there is a bit more to it, that I am saving until the future owner gets to see it.
Phil, I would love to hear any suggestions you may have, anything specific?

I'm not refering to this one Barry....but how much time have you got
Here's an idea, but not necessarilly with this scroll.
Another idea, carve scrollwork to the area but cut away and flatten areas to accommodate your gold leaves and stawks so that the carved work and gold are the same height.

hehehehe, Thats what I get for asking.
That looks great Phil, I am not even going to ask how you managed to put that in there and make it look like it was there all along.
I did have some ideas something along those lines, and thats why I put the tendrils in.
This one is already shipped, however I will take your excellent suggestion under advisement for the future.
Thank you very much for the very instructional criticism.

I like the sculpt job on the leaves. Hard to see much from here.

I've done a few like that where the scroll and the gold bare no relation to each other.
I also did a job with deep carved scroll and carved gold scroll over the top of that but in a different direction. it's not easy or quick but it looks different.

Phil
