Oooh, nice. I like all three on the right. The blond one upper right has an appealing "minimalist" look.

Thank you Don, Chris and Kurt.

Chris, The above shaped handles will only fit PalmContols. Another version can be made for foot pedal AirGravers. Below is a foot pedal tool with burl. The tool would need to be returned so that L slots under the handle can be added.

Kurt, the blond one is from Holly. The grain looks similar to ivory.

"Holly Wood" Haha! It does have an appealing, fine-grained look to it.

I was (and still am) amazed that these handles don't chip or break more, as the handle wall surrounding the mechanism on the PalmControl is really quite thin. Are you making these all by hand on a lathe, Steve? That's a true labor of love.

I'd still like to give one a shot in ivory. Perhaps by making it a bit bulkier, and thicker-walled, I'll be able to pull it off. I remember Chris B mentioning that hippo ivory is brittle, but the cost is so low here in the States, I thought I'd give it a try. I also have a couple of humongous warthog tusks inbound. They may have enough "meat" at the base to sneak a handle out of one.

I thought that holly one was ivory, sure fooled me. Kurt, check your messages, I've sent a few with no replies yet.
