Default The Gold Colt

This is a personal project and to my knowledge, has not been done before so it will be a one of a kind when completed. I'm hopefully going to have it ready for the 2014 FEGA show. The pistol is a Colt model 1911, .45acp in stainless steel. The 100 years of service model I purchased last year. The
scrollwork will be cut in my Victorian Scroll in relief with Gold enlayed in the background. I am using 26 gauge wire for this project with a fine beading of the Gold resulting in a shallow relief of the background. I'll post some photos as I go along on this project this is going to be a fun project for me personally_JR

I got the beading tools from Riogrande, I use the smallest (.5mm) I'll post some updates later this week, this is going to be a long project as it is mind numbing_JR
