Default Was this work done by the same engraver?

I hope that some of you will be able to use your advanced engraver's "eye" and offer opinions and comments. In the past the members of this forum have been very helpful in expanding my understanding of engraved pistols.

I recently received an email from Rock Island Auctions in which they are very enthusiastic about an engraved Walther Model 9 pistol. It appears to me that the style of engraving is very similar to a pistol that I have in my collection. I think that they might have been engraved by the same craftsman.

Do you think that the work was done by the same person? I would appreciate any comments that you might be willing to offer.

Thank you, Earl
