Default Engraved knife by Twin Blades.....

I just finished this one from the twins Charlie and Harry Mathews of Stateboro, GA. Charlie and Harry like the engraving cut deep and this one is.
Any questions....ask?

Jim,

I like it a lot. I like the deep engraving myself but don't do too much of it.

This is a very nice piece of work. I enjoy your posts.

Thanks!
Bill

Beautiful! Simple but elegant. Are those finished in a french grey?

RICH
To answer your question. No French Gray on this one. Just the soft defused light. The background is cut deep and stippled with a very fine point which give the background a much darker apperance. Before I stipple...I use a blunt fine point and flatten the background...then stipple with the fine point.
Steve....I am not sure what you mean by price per 1/4 square. I normally price my work by the estimated amount of time and difficulty of the piece I am going to work on. So, I guess you could say the prices very a bit on some jobs. I just finished a project today and by the time involved...was a bit less than the price quoted....the customer came out "smelling like a rose" on this one.
Thaks for the questions
Jim
