All joking aside, that is really nice, Jacques. Excellent work, especially with the arcs. That is very hard to layout and cut with the precision of your work. I've tried something similar, but unlike you, I actually really need practice.

How do you lay out and cut that background between the scrolls? If it were just straight intersecting lines to make up a checker board pattern that would be rather easy. But, each segment is rounded here and looks like a lot of work and I'd like to understand how you went about it, very nice!

tim the lay out is rather easy just take away the scrolls and you are left with a simple pattern.with the cutting they are round and you said it "lot of work".they start inside as round and end as long ovals.
