Default First knife

This started out as a practice plate essentially as many of these techniques I haven’t tried before. This was my first attempt at a small folder, 4 bolsters, deep relief engraved each with a copper border. Flowers on the pins and a running wheat treatment on the lock bar/spine. I’ve learned a lot throughout the process and I’m excited more than ever to tackle my next project.

I'd say it looks like you have good control of the graver cutting. I think copper is tougher to inlay compared to 24k gold. 24k is softer.
