Got my Airgraver Classic a little before Christmas. Practicing when I can get the time. Enclosed is a 2" brass blank disc. The Griffin and other elements are taken from Meek's book "The Art of Engraving". There are elements that I'd do differently if to start over. I really think I need a stronger magnification in the Optivisor I've got. The shading in the running leaf border suffered as I was guessing when the lines were intersecting. Sometimes I got it right sometimes I didn't. It's not that noticable to the naked eye, but I know the slight imperfections are there. I'm impressed with the fact I could cut the 3 rings within the design, the outer border line and the 2 circles with the leaf border. I could never imagine cutting that with the "push graving" method I was using prior to receiving the Classic. Critique welcome.

Nice work again,when you are able see where you are wrong,and you say it,That is good going.You will improve on your work yourself.

What is the magnification on the optivisor you used ?
I use a 10x and find it okay.

I've only got a 5x. I'll pick up a 10x panel to change over when business resumes as most are still closed unfortunately. I just do what I can until then.

No harm in trying the 10x .After that I am afraid its a scope and that's big money !
