Smile Hi from switzerland!

I was looking at this page quite often already, now I FINALLY got registered too :-)
I'm watchmaker and handengraver, being independent since a while in the french part of switzerland. I mostly work on watchparts, but since a short while also on arms, so I think this is the perfect place to be (and learn more and more :-)
Looking forward to everything here!

cheers

for your comments, everyone!!
Thanks, Jean, it will be more about steel-works that I have to learn still :-)
Not bad your own album, exellent travail!
Merci Roland, greetings from over the border, I've actually seen you on youtube before when I searched for ''live''gun-engraving :-) Nice Homepage, too!
And last not least, thanks Rod! Great jobs you got there for restoration!
As for the pictures, I can't use most of the ones I have because the companies want discretion about it, sorry. But there will be more soon anyway.

It's actually quite addictive this forum, each time you have a little 'hanger', not exactly knowing how to go on or what to do next at work, you just come here and in no time you got tons of ideas and new motivation and energy:-)

Good cutting!

Hanne,

I can see from your album that you are a good artist and skilled engraver. You may like to look at my international hand engraving glossary by clicking on the link below my name or on the word Glossary in red at the top of the page. This "glossaire" has over 300 words and 400 pictures related to hand engraving, its tools and designs. I also include words in French, German, and Italian. This will help you learn the English words for our engraving world.

Best wishes,

Roger
