Default HoboChief does carve NICKELS

I know I have not been posting nickels on the forum, I do carve but my main goal is to have coins available for kids and adults that are inexpensive to purchase there for being quick to carve and let them go,, So here are some coins I have been working on for all to see... Thanks for making HOBONICKELS a coin for the future.... Rollie Hobochief

Remember January 2013 FUN SHOW Orlando HOBO NICKELS are on the marque..Buffalo and HOBOS expanded table with displays, Linsday system of Artisan, Classic, and PC available to try and also air ports available if you bring your own PC Go to www.funtopics.com for more info..

Nice carvings . I recently returned to the forum after a few year hiatus and I see a lot of these carved nickels and even accessories to engrave them. Is this a new thing? In any case I wants to give it a try. Think I saw a tutorial somewhere....

According to the Quality assurance guys at OHNS no more that X10 is necc. I use X7 optivisor and it is fine. Hobo nickels have been around for 100 years it is only 21 years ago that the Original HOBO Nickel Society has been teaching about them and having an auction annually in Orlando Fl to get HOBO's traded and collected and carvers together
to show and tell and carve and try tools etc.. I hope this helps... ROllie Hobochief OHNS

William you have to try the optivisors on.... its like the drugstore reading glasses, you cant see how they work til you try them on. Im nearsighted and bought a couple different ones. I cant see good with an optivisor at all. If there is a Harbor Freight near you, they have a cheap optivisor copy with a bunch of different lenses. Rollie, keep up the good work.....keep cutting brother!
