What's up, from SoCal
How's it going? I'm Big E, owner of Big E Works in Corona, Ca. Im fascinated with all sorts of art form and have been developing a bit of my own style for awhile now. However, I believe I'm cheating myself by using machines when proper hand tooled techniques could be utilized instead.

Re: What's up, from SoCal
Big E,
Few people would fault a sculptor for using power tools to carve marble. Look up Rodin workshop photos, he used scale models, pantograph tools to upside his designs. Yet nobody would doubt his work is art. Would Leonardo have used a projector to layout his work on the Sistine chapel ceiling? I bet if he had the technology, he would have used the he'll out of an iPad and it still would have been amazing! Use any and every tool available, just make art! |
