new in the northwest

hey guys. i am dave carter. and i live in portland or. i am interested in engraving as a hobby that could turn into a livelyhood. i would like to hear from some engravers in the nw. i would like to check out the FEGA show in reno? if i could swing it. are there apprenticeships in the engraving world? thanx dave. dave.cochise@gmail.com
