Thanks SEngraver..I have seen the Nitro on the web site..it all seems overwhelming..I hoped there would be a set..everything you need to get started kit..I would like to try other parts also not just bike parts..maybe an all around graver to get started,what would you recommend for that.I have looked at some members photos there is Great talent in this forum..

HI JP,

Caution first and that is take some classes on engraving,read up books so you are able know the basics in engraving on different metals and as JJ,mentioned earlier,drawing skills are needed too.
You are a talented man all that talent will be very helpful and make this easy,I am sure.

This will solve lots of starters glitches in the beginning making the learning curve much easier.

With tools one has to be working with a budget and also with your intended aim in mind.
You have to buy the best knowing they will last and with returns from work done, using the tools, they will eventually pay you back and much more.

I would suggest a classic in this kit ;

Foot Control Classic or NitroG20™ engraving set w/ sharpener
Set Includes:
Classic handpiece or NitroG20 (your choice)
Dual Regulators with Foot Control
Tungsten Dead blow piston
CarbaltXD graver blanks 5 pack
M42 graver blanks 5 pack
Lindsay Sharpener set with basic templates, Includes: Sharpening fixture, 6"x6' sharpening base, four diamond bench stones (260, 600, 1200, 2000), plus 4 templates: Universal, Detailing, 105, and Flat & Knife Combo

The classic has an adjustable stroke.You can vary the stroke and hammering of the hand piece.Its a versatile tool.

If all is affordable then go for the Goliath engraving vise too (makes a lot of difference) ;

And if you have a compressor you are ready to go.

*I would not advise working with a scope,everybody's view is different on that.You decide on that yourself.

You will also improvise along the way on the equipment.
