Carniverious Metal Montage
Completed this collaboration piece with a buddy of mine Cody Sanderson for a big show this past august. I finally got some decet photos of the piece. I made the vase and titanium leaves, Cody did the carniverious flowers out of sterling silver and even has articulating venus fly traps.
Lindsay importance: I couldnt have done the massive silver inlay without the PC, each piece of inlay was 10.5" tall and cut from a single piece of fine silver. It was then sculpted down to give it a raised surface. I was inlaying this thing for hours, so much so, I had to get some anti-vibe work gloves to keep my tendons in check. The entire piece stands over 24" tall. I hope you like. Oh and for the record we took a first place in our catagory. :whoo: Thanks Steve for making this piece possible with your amazing PC.
