A few weeks ago, I got my Artisan. It only took a few hours to get it up and going. My first project was a Volkmann 1911 (I will post as soon as I get it back from refinishing. My second project is a set of plates for Baretta Gallery
I just finished the first side. I engraved 80% of the plate with the Artisan and the balance with a push graver. The Artisan performed flawlessly and I am pleased with the smoothness and control (lots better than brand X) I'm starting the other side in a couple of days and will post the finished product when completed. You just can't beat a Lindsay!!!!!!!!!!! _JR ![]() Last edited by JRon; 10-12-2010 at 08:59 PM. Reason: pix |
