Default Classic vs NitroG20!!! which for a new guy?

Classic vs NitroG20!!! which for a new guy?

AFTER alot of practice and learning and more learning I would like to be able to engrave Motorcycle parts and Firearms. (Just love'm both!)

With that being my endstate goal I was wondering which would be the best to buy and learn with? Classic or NitroG20

And if the "DoveTail Low Profile Vise" would be a good vice to start with for this goal in mind as well?

Wife has ok'd the funds and I'm looking into a used microscope so now it's decision time...

Any help or personal insights would be very helpful.

If you haven't done any engraving before, buy some gravers, handles, sharpening templates and a hammer and go at it for 12 months. Then go for a powered tool if you think you need it.

I would go with the Classic if your wanting to do some gun engraving. If your going to do more engraving on motorcycles then I would go with the Nitro. Good luck and congrats on the wife's okay.
